[ THE COACH ] 

I’m a very excitable, high-fiving results enthusiast. Results are seen in many forms: increased mobility, ease of daily activity, better sleep, growing confidence, strength gain, fat loss, etc – any and all of these results will be celebrated!

My belief is that there is more to training than steamed broccoli, grilled chicken and visible abs – I feel it’s my responsibility to coach my clients through a maintainable transformation that allows for the enjoyment of life.

I use time tested movements to achieve strength gains and fat loss for all fitness levels.  You will push, pull, squat and deadlift – assuming you are able to move through these ranges of motion.  ** I will assess your movement and program accordingly.

I make fitness fun.  Fitness isn’t something you do for months at a time, or a year here and a year there – I want fitness to be a part of your life for the next three hundred sixty-five days, the next three years, the next thirty years.  If I can’t make fitness fun – it won’t be!

 

[ THE PERSON ]

I’m a father of twins [a girl and boy] and have an amazing, supportive wife.  I lead by example in my belief that life should be enjoyable – so I enjoy a nice Red Zinfandel or good IPA just as much as I enjoy deadlifts and kettlebell swings.

I play golf.  Well, used to play golf before the babies and the opening of AGY.  I’m a local sports fan that grew up in Iowa.  I read but only for educational purposes.
